Terms of Rite

OBSIDIAN ORDER is the trading name of the entity operating this site. Full legal entity details (registered name, registration number, registered office, VAT number) will be published here once finalized. In the interim, reach the order via our contact channel.

OBSIDIAN ORDER designs and releases limited drops of t-shirts and hoodies — heavyweight cotton, dyed dark, printed with sigils, manifestos, and quiet provocations. Each piece is issued in a finite run. Materials, weights, and care instructions are listed on the product page.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By using the Service you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have legal capacity to enter a binding contract.

You may purchase as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for activity carried out under your account. We may suspend or revoke an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

Orders placed through the site are offers to purchase, subject to acceptance by OBSIDIAN ORDER. We may refuse or cancel any order — for reasons of stock, suspected fraud, address verification, or pricing errors.

A binding contract forms only when we send you an order confirmation email containing your order number. An automated "received" message is not acceptance.

Prices are displayed in EUR (€) and include applicable VAT for EU customers. Shipping fees and any import duties are surfaced at checkout, as detailed in our Shipping Rite.

Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA Direct Debit, Bancontact, iDEAL, Klarna and other local methods supported by Stripe in your region. Payment is taken in full at the time the order is placed. We never see or store your full card details.

If a price is listed in error due to a typographical or technical fault, we may cancel the order and refund any sum charged.

Delivery times, methods, and costs are described in our Shipping Rite. Risk of loss and title pass to you once the parcel is handed to the carrier.

You may return eligible garments as described in our Returns Rite. EU consumers also benefit from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, starting on the day of delivery, without giving any reason. Personalized or made-to-order pieces are excluded from the right of withdrawal where permitted by law.

If a charge looks wrong, contact us via our contact channel before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve it directly. Chargebacks raised without a valid reason, or after a refund has already been agreed, may be contested with evidence of order, delivery, and prior communication.

All content on the Service — text, photography, design, sigils, logotypes, and garment names — is owned by OBSIDIAN ORDER or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, screenprint, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Wear it. Don't reprint it.

• Do not attempt unauthorized access to the Service.
• Do not place fraudulent or speculative orders.
• Do not scrape, mirror, or resell our content.
• Do not use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We warrant that garments are free from manufacturing defects for 12 months from the delivery date. EU consumers additionally benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity (2 years) and the guarantee against hidden defects. These statutory rights are not affected by our commercial warranty.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OBSIDIAN ORDER shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government measures, strikes, carrier disruptions, or failure of utilities or telecommunications.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Rite, Cookies Rite, Shipping Rite and Returns Rite, constitute the entire agreement between you and OBSIDIAN ORDER regarding the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be marked on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
